Very drinkable. Smooth and rich with hints of cocoa and smoke. Tannins are mild as is acidity.

We drank this on Easter with lamb shanks and farro seasoned with a gremolata and it was a great complement. Wine was silky and mild with very nice mouthfeel and taste. A fine pairing.
